Dr. Kohl's renowned oncology expertise and insight stems from his work and residency at Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Mich.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work? In my free time, I enjoy playing racquetball and participating in yoga and meditation.

What sort of blogs/news channels do you follow? I follow the American Society for Radiation Oncology to keep up-to-date on the latest trends in my field.

If you weren’t a doctor, what would your dream job be? Before medical school, I actually attended graduate school with the intention to become a professor.

Where did you grow up/where is your family from? I am originally from the Milwaukee area.

What is the hottest trend in your industry? There are always new technologies being developed. Recently the trend has been towards high doses of radiation applied to small areas.
