Daphne Erck is a registered nurse. She works for Affinity Health as a Lifespan educator teaching classes such as Childbirth and Infant Care. She also works as a BirthPlace nurse at Mercy Medical Center. She has worked for Affinity Health System for seven years.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work? I love having family night with my husband and three boys. I also enjoy reading, photography and scrapbooking.

What is your favorite thing about your job? I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them with this exciting time in their life. I also really enjoy working with a wonderful group of people.

What sort of blogs/news channels do you follow? I watch all of the local news channels and CNN. I like to follow the Affinity blog and blogs about parenting or money.

If you weren’t a nurse, what would your dream job be? I love being a nurse. If I had to choose something else it would probably be a job working with kids, maybe as a preschool teacher.

Where did you grow up/where is your family from? I am from Florida, but moved to Wisconsin in 1994. I love it here…except (maybe) in March when I am in desperate need for warm weather.
