Dr. Thomas Reinardy

Thomas Reinardy, MD, provides comprehensive OB/Gyn care, with a special interest in laparoscopy, gynecologic surgery and high-risk pregnancy. Dr. Reinardy is specially trained to perform robotic surgery, a highly advanced, minimally invasive surgical technique. Dr. Reinardy earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He also completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I like to do just about anything outdoors. Fishing, biking, hunting, skiing and scuba diving are a few examples. I also like to play softball and build things.

 

What is your favorite thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is the deliveries. Giving over brand new life to a mother’s arms never gets old.

 

What sort of blogs/news channels do you follow?

I’m very interested in politics and history, specifically American history. I spend a lot of time on multiple news feeds and take online courses on our constitution and American heritage.

 

If you weren’t a doctor, what would your dream job be?

A carpenter or engineer.

 

Where did you grow up/where is your family from?

I spent my formative years in Antigo, Wis. I am a lifelong Wisconsin native.
