Joe Fox, MS, LAT provides athletic training services to Affinity Health System with outreach athletic training at Oshkosh North High School. He specializes in gait analysis and is the creator and director of Affinity Health System's Gait Analysis program. Joe earned his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology-exercise science with an emphasis in athletic training in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin Madison and earned his Master's degree in exercise science - athletic training from the University of Iowa in 2007.

1. What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I'm an avid biker, runner and exercise fanatic. I love cooking and baking.

2. What is your favorite thing about your job?

I like helping high school student athletes reach their full potential and help them return to sports after being hurt. There is a lot of personal satisfaction that goes with it.

3. Where did you grow up/where is your family from?

I grew up on a small farm in the south of Oshkosh. I have lived in Oshkosh my whole life outside of college.

4. What is the hottest trend in your industry?

Right now its all about high intensity training for athletes and concussion management.
