I try to play golf and piano and also do some biking. I enjoy fixing things around the house, but I’m not very good at it. I like cooking breakfast. I follow many sports teams especially the Packers, Brewers, and my Alma Mater, Notre Dame.

What is your favorite thing about your job? I work with a great group of people that bring a fun energy to every day.  Preventing disease and injuries has always appealed to me.

What sort of blogs/news channels do you follow? The website I visit most frequently include, Jsonline.com particularly the sports section, thebiglead.com (sports and entertainment), back room at ndnation.com (a random collection of unusual stories, advice requests, recipes, personal stories, etc), my fantasy baseball and fantasy football teams and Facebook.  For more work related websites: mdconsult.com, medscape.com, sermo.com, aap smartbrief, healthychildren.org, kidshealth.org.

If you weren’t a doctor what would your dream job be? Summer camp counselor, professional athlete or coach

Where did you grow up/where is your family from? I grew up in Sheboygan, WI.  Most of my family still lives in that area.

What is the hottest trend in your industry? Using the web resources, email communication and social media to communicate with patients and educate them on health issues.
