If you asked me one month ago if I would ever use the words, “post a comment on my blog,” I would have denied it. But, here I am writing my first blog and may actually get a chance to use the phrase from time to time. I’ve gotta tell you, I’m kind of excited about it! My name is Sue Marquardt and I have been a registered nurse with Affinity Health System for 30 years.
I was not even sure I could do this and had mixed feelings about accepting this task. As I mulled it around in my head, I began to envision the fun it could be and the benefits that could arise from it. For the last 17 years I have worked at NurseDirect and have helped countless people with hundreds of health concerns, one family at a time. It has been incredibly rewarding. With this blog, it will be possible to share these same concerns over a wider audience.
So, with all that in mind, I am ready to begin blogging! I am interested in blogging about health topics that are “in season.” Sunburns and bee stings in the summer, influenza and vaccines in the fall, and frostbite, colds and flu in the winter. With the original purpose being informational, but as a bonus- a format for discussion, questions, and of course some fun banter; could make this blog a whole lot of fun! And, as always, you can certainly call NurseDirect 24/7 at (920) 738-2230 with any health questions!
So, and I cant resist saying it…post a comment on my blog and let me know what you would like to hear about!
