Show Your Support at Upcoming Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraisers

Throughout the next few weeks, there will be multiple fundraisers taking place to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your participation at these fundraisers will not only help raise money for the Society, but it could also help Dr. Karen Gremminger become The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘Woman of the Year.’

Here is the list of upcoming fundraising events:

  • On April 24 from 5:00-8:00 p.m., you can enjoy Hors d’oeuvres, raffles, door prizes, a silent auction and more at The Waters, located on Washington Street in Oshkosh.
  • On April 25, join us after work at The Bar, located on College Avenue in Appleton. Enjoy appetizers and participate in the silent auction from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • On May 1 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., there will be a Party on the Patio at Robbins Restaurant, located on Omro Road in Oshkosh. In the event of rain, the party will be moved indoors. The Party on the Patio will feature a silent auction.

We hope you can make it to these fundraisers to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Dr. Karen Gremminger as Woman of the Year.

  • The choice to make use of an alternative medicine cure for cancer demands courage in the outset. When you are initial told you have cancer it can be like stepping into an elevator shaft – your entire life can really feel like it’s going into free fall. And when you are told by your oncologist or consulting surgeon and you need to have surgery your initial impulse might be “Let’s get done quickly so I can get on with life following cancer.” This was true of my partner. Although she regularly used alternative medicine the lure of the instant fix that surgery for her breast cancer appeared to provide was enticing.
